I wonder, since this is the second application they are using their online system, there might be a delay in how emails get sent? I understand the frustration though because I just want to know!!
Same, last semester I received a rejection email as well, good thing is there are 4 other programs to apply for next semester. Did anyone apply for the CSUS one and know when they send out those notifications?

they sent me an email saying they will send out emails on nov 13th by 5 pm

has anyone gotten rejected or alternate emails? Just wondering if I should lose hope now or late hahaha :,)
nope, I emailed them asking if they send out emails for those on the alternate list and they told me that they sent it already to those who are on it
OhThatsABaseball said:Hey there,
I took my TEAS as soon as I completed my Microbio course, and gave myself 3 months to study everything. If you need any tips on what I did to score a 90+ percentage(mind you I didn't even study for math xD), I will tell you that I used the ATI phone app that gives you flash cards and studied those in between my daily errands etc, took the practice exams in the study guide book, the two online practice exams, and all the practice quizzes at the end of each chapter, I watched a couple of RN YouTube channels and TEAS related tutors, looked over my old course slides for anatomy, physio, chemistry, and microbio, and did all this in chunks. Make sure to give yourself plenty of time to absorb this info, so do not cram it all. Im telling you that ATI flashcard app with thousands of questions helped soooooo much.
was the science portion on flash cards helpful at all? I bought the app with a lot of quizzes but literally none of those questions prepared me for the TEAS exam itself. (the science portion itself was much more harder than the study guide or the quizzes on it for me for the ATI package.) also did everyone take TEAS 7?

Nope, I have not received a rejected or alternate email, my portal still says submitted so I am assuming I didn't get in. I will be reapplying for Spring 2026.
At ARC, just like SCC, and Sac State, there is an alternate list. They will notify you if you made it onto either list. Usually not all students admitted to the program will accept the offer so that's why they have that alternate list. Not all students on the alternate list will be admitted and they may or may not tell you exactly where you are on the alternate list. That being said, if you're on the alternate list and you're offered a seat, consider taking that seat if you haven't been accepted elsewhere. Rarely they may run out of alternates too so it is possible to not get an admission notice initially but then get one a couple weeks after the notices went out. That would be because they still have open seats... only after they've filled all the seats with students that have accepted the invite might they actually send out an email saying you weren't selected this time.
Also know that unless your application indicates that you were not qualified, you ARE qualified for entry so don't beat yourself up if you don't get in.

Yes the science portion of the flash cards was extremely helpful in helping me stay up on my anatomy, physio, and a small amount of microbio. For chemistry, the textbook and online YouTube videos helped alot to the point it was overkill with how much I put into the chemistry so do not worry much about that part. That is really strange that you didn't see anything similar from the hardcopy of the text, the app questions of like 1000+, and the online ATI study review with their own quizzes and individual section exams and two full practice exams that you get as well there. I found the study stuff harder than the actual TEAS as well which was a great thing 😆.

Yes do not count yourself out, I would much rather get nothing saying I was rejected than to actually get one. You never know if you could get one of the alternate spots. And at least next semester, all the local programs will be open for applying. Thank you for the positive vibes.
OhThatsABaseball said:@Ester Potomkina Are you planning to potentially go to CSUS if you get in?
yes, but I applied with only 69 points so im praying to get in
@Ester Potomkina awesome I applied with I 71 so I am hoping for good news as well. I would like to get my BSN in 2 years vs 2 years + Bridge(12-15 months) but at least so far I have acceptance into a program I want as well just incase.
This whole week is going to be a mental struggle with anticipation for those emails to be sent 😟
OhThatsABaseball said:And for anyone wondering about receiving any sort of confirmation upon accepting your entry into the program, I did get an email(6:30pm) confirming that I accepted my entry and will be receiving a response from the department in 3-5 days. So you will get something after you hit that Accept option.
Hey, I accepted my entry but didn't get any confirmation email. How do I know they receive my acceptance?

I agree, I used the ATI TEAS package and hands down came in clutch. That TEAS test experience for me was filled with Adrenaline o_O and then I did not even realize it was going to give me my score right there and then...Oh how I just started telling myself "man I screwed up big time...."
