Has anyone attended this in Flint or Lansing? I don't think I am going to make the straight a's needed to get into the LPN program at baker so I am making a plan B. I just don't want to go there and it turn out to be a joke.

Isn't that the new one? I am at LCC, but I work with a girl who (I think) is going through this program. She didn't want to wait so long to go through LCC. She was an excellent student, even though english was her second language and had about a 3.5 or so GPA. She is doing OK in this program. She is always worried though because she says it's so hard and there is little room for error. They have already had quite a few quit the program. Also, she says because it's new that the teachers are more inexperienced and apparently it shows. She also complained that they never go over the tests, they just take them and get the grade, they never find out what questions they got wrong and why. She also said the teachers don't have time to really help you personally if you need it. We have all of that at LCC. But, that's not to discourage you, just one persons opinion. :twocents:

I went to their first information meeting.

First, it was very expensive. About 20,000 for the year.

Second, You had to have a CNA and 6 months of experience.

I would just and talk to them. Maybe things have changed.
