Hello fellow NCLEX takers and those that have already taken it! I am taking mine on July 15 and I am freaking out. I have done Prep U 10,000 and I do it on a daily bases. I have done all kaplan question trainers have been reviewing content since May 22!!! I feel like I am never ready and I never know enough. I don't know if I am just causing myself anxiety or what but......its overwhelming. What has everyone else been doing and am I the only one feeling like this. I know you can't possibly know everything but there always seems to be something that I don't know. Meds are going to be the worst because I don't even know where to start..... any imput is great!

Purse Lip Breather to the Rescue!!
Take in slow normal breaths through your nose for 2 seconds, now purse your lips and exhale slowly for 4 seconds...
If you have done all the studying you can, now is a good time to work on reducing your anxiety by focusing on something else other than this test. You still have 3 weeks before your test date. Treat the NCLEX like a Competition; it's your opponent. How well do you know your opponent and how well do you know how to defeat or PASS the test.
You're already armed with Knowledge and Comprehension from school. Now you will be tested on how well you can Analyze and Apply what you learned. This test will determine when you begin to 'get one right, then one wrong.' This is the 50% point of your competency level. The test will get harder as you proceed. This is the point where you need to Purse Lip Breathe and then pound on those harder questions. Now matter how much you think you know, at some point it will get challenging for you and then the test will be over. Everyone's level is different. Practice those Select All that Apply ?s and Priority questions.
When you wake up, look yourself in the mirror and say, " I WILL PASS THE NCLEX." Self motivation is important. "You can do it." Remember, others made it and so can you. Believe in it! The BON is eager to put your name on a license.
Hope this helps...
Thank you so much!!! I may just read this on the morning of my test!!! So sweet of you!
