Am I Crazy?

Published

A little background, I am on the 12 plan for a year to degree! LOL

I was in a community college, the wait list was awful, I finished 2 other programs waiting to get into the RN program. Then I started LPN school, but after GM announcing the closing of my mom's plant, she can no longer watch my 3 kids so I can go to evening classes.

So here is my dilemma, I only have 6 classes before I can apply to the BSN program at a local college. I can't go during the fall because the LPN school I was attending took my financial aid and by the time they had sent it back all the classes I needed were full (seeing as how classes begin in like 2 weeks). So In the winter I am going to have to take organic chem and A&P1. I have taken a few A&P's in various programs, 1 in the RN program at the community college, a couple in medics class, 1 in MA classes and 1 in LPN school. I did well in all of them.

So my question is am I committing suicide by taking these classes together? I have to have 6 classes done by June 15th, 2009 to apply to the BSN program for the fall.

You're definetely not crazy lol, I'm taking Human Anatomy and Microbiology in one semester and then Human Physiology, Chemistry and Statistics in the semester following.

Wow! Wishing you all the best for the next few semesters! LOL

I didn't take any classes in Dayton. When we moved, I had just started looking at info about nursing--pre-reqs, etc. I did meet with somebody over at WSU, and she was very helpful.

Yeah, they seem very helpful there, but so did the people at sinclair.

Hoping-

I am currently in Wright State's nursing program (will graduate in Nov 09). As far as childcare- have you heard of Mini U on campus. My son goes there as well as my great-nephew. My nice qualifies for free childcare because she is a single mom and nursing student as well. If you have any questions e-mail me, I would be more than happy to help...
