Hey all,
I am very upset because I took the GRE about a week ago a scored 1070 (640 quant, 430 verbal). Aside from my GRE score, I think I am a pretty competitive candidate for ABSN/MSN programs. I have a 4.0 GPA in the pre-requisites (A+'s in A&P and Microbiology), 3.8 overall GPA, am an Anatomy and Physiology UTA, am very involved in my university, and have volunteer clinical experience (a lot considering I am still an undergraduate student). I need advice as to whether or not I am competitive for ABSN/MSN programs at top rated schools such as Columbia, UPENN, or Emory?? Please help! Thanks

Uh...I think you're competitive enough to go to those schools. But why not consider a school that is in your area? It will be cheaper since you don't have to dorm and you learn the same things those top schools with nursing programs do. All nurses are taught the same stuff...
