👋 Hello, I wanted to start a thread on here for applicants of alvin CC ADN program. Maybe we can share and see information. I applied for the Fall of 2025 ADN. I know it is competitive and can be a scary wait, I currently have a 4.0 GPA, in progress Micro, all other classes done, 88% on HESI, 90% reading portion. FINGERS CROSSED 🤞
@Lynnkayjay123 If I'm not mistaken I saw someone say they were waitlisted at #17 and got in a week before the program started so I wouldn't lose hope.👍🏽

Hello, If you don't mind sharing, what is your weekly schedule like, and what are the clinical requirements(How many times per week? How long each clincal is?) I am looking into applying for the Spring of 2026... But am hesitant as it is nearly 40-50 minute commute from my house, that would be fine if it is 2-3 days on campus, but if it is everyday, that would be quite difficult....
Hi @Ezmath Adil, during 1st semester, we were on campus/clinicals about 3 days a week, and sometimes 4 days. I personally drive about an hour and a half each way, so I completely understand the concern with commuting. It can definitely be tiring at times, but honestly, it's been worth it. The schedule isn't every single day on campus, which makes it manageable even with a longer drive. Once you get into a routine, it becomes part of the process. Good Luck with your application!
