Alvin Community College ADN

I’m looking at applying for Alvin’s Spring 2021 ADN program. How hard is it to get accepted?? I’m taking A&P I&II over the Summer with Houston CC online. The current pre-reqs I have that count towards the program are general Psychology with an A and COMP I with a B. Are ACT scores relevant? I made a 22. Subscores are ENG: 25 MAT: 23 SCI: 21 RDG: 23. I’ve taken the TEAS before and I wanna say I made in the high 70’s range. How is that compared to the HESI? My last college GPA was a 3.4. Do you guys think there’s any chance? Thanks ?

I've been looking at previous posts and they honestly look pretty competitive I can't even lie. I was looking to apply here too but I'm currently making a B in Bio so it's not really looking the greatest for me, LOL

LOL I was thinking maybe good HESI scores will help us out ?? But that’s really the only program I’m applying to. All the other programs I’ve looked at require more pre-reqs and I wouldn’t finish them in time to apply. Unless someone can point me to one that has the same number of pre-reqs as Alvin and the same September/October application period.

Hey, I applied to the ADN program Spring 2021 at ACC. In the Applicant meeting the advisor said that the average scores for the HESI/GPA from the last 2 classes were 92/3.6 So yes ACC is VERY competitive. Apply to multiple schools, not just ACC. Good luck!
