Alternatives to taking a class?

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Hello all!

This is my first post on allnurses.com. To start off, I am considering nursing as a full-time career. I recently graduated a couple months ago (still waiting on that BS diploma xD) and is starting to take the pre-requisites for a 2nd-degree BSN program. I have most of the pre-requisites completed, thanks to the fact that my BS major was Human Health/Biology, which covered most of the requirements. However, I am still short one class: Anatomy.

My dilemma is that I would like to apply this Fall 2010, but if I'm not in the progress of taking Anatomy, I really have no shot of getting into the program at all/pretty pointless to apply. The junior colleges I researched had the Anatomy classes booked solid with a waiting list.

So does anyone have any suggestions on what I could do? I was thinking about online, but I don't know if it is acceptable...

Thanks!

you can take it on-line or a community college, but I know my school requires A&P 1 and 2 be taken at the same school, so if you take one on line you might have to take the second online as well.
