For those who have taken NCLEX, did you get any of the different formatted questions other than just the mulitople choice? Such as the fill in the blank, hot spot, chart and exhibit or drag and drop? Im studying a Lippincotts book and I swear it says PN , but most of these ques. seem more like RN. Please let me know ...! Thanx:icon_roll

None of the funky ones. Just your med calculations and a couple select all that apply.

When I took my NCLEX I had at least 10 SATA, 2 med calcs, one question with several pages of documentation you might find in a patient chart, and one one with a picture that you had to type in the number that corresponded to the correct answer.
Any that did the PN-VN that had these? Im taking the VN NCLEX. And its weird cause some of my PN books have cancer meds., IV sites, dosage calc. for kids using their weights...some of them Im wondering if they really are VN? I like learning anyway and I think Im overpreparing, but I want to because not only to pass NCLEX but to be well informed as a new nurse ... what about any exhibit ones? Where you place an X on appropriate area, such as where aortic pulse is best heard or IV site (femoral) any of those?
