I'm currently in a RN-BSN program that I am almost half-way done with. In ADN school, I always thought I wanted to become a nurse practitioner, at this point I have changed my mind on that route. However, it has been my dream to get my master's degree for a long time. I have a really good paying job, but it doesn't pay more if you have your BSN. I still want to get my master's, but I don't know if it's worth all the worth all the added student debt and stress. If I decide to continue, I would most likely get an MSN in administration. Everyone says "Continue school, don't quit!", but I don't really know if this is even the best option. At the facility I work at, they do not pay for continuing education and I have applied for many scholarships in the past. What should I do????

Is there any way you can take a break between the BSN and the MSN without withdrawing form school? That will depend upon the structure of your program. Explore whether or not that option is possible before committing to any course of action. It's a good compromise that will give you some time to decide what you want to do with your career.
If taking an actual break is not an option, can you slow down your academic progress a bit? Again, that would give you time to figure out what type of career your want before investing a lot of money into something you don't really want.
Yes, I can take a break since it is not an RN to MSN program.

Take a break! I took 2 years between ADN and BSN but then went straight into an MSN with possible DNP (non-clinical). This is my last semester of MSN and I need a break!. My practicum hours will transfer if I decide to go on. It does get tougher as you go up. The experience will help. Not saying wait forever, but a year or two is kinda nice.
