Alia Healthcare STNA training in Cincinnati

Published

Hello everyone!

I am looking to hear about any reviews on Alia Healthcare STNA training in Cincinnati. I am looking to be a CNA while waiting to go to Nursing school if I hopefully get in. If I am admitted I would be most likely starting in January so I figured becoming and STNA and getting some experience will help and could allow me to work while in Nursing school from the 1st semester instead of waiting to finish my 1st semester before being considered qualified to be an STNA or PCA. That and I need to get some money in hand before starting in January if that happens.

Anyway I found this after googling for training programs in the Cincinnati area, does anyone know how much it would cost, any fees that are needed etc. Also what other training programs are there in Cincinnati? I saw 2 others at Cincinnati state and Great Oaks. Any input on those programs and any others would be awesome!

Also I know some areas say they will train you to become an STNA or PCA free of charge, how long do you usually have to work for them for that to apply? I know it will probably vary by employer but I was curious if there was a typical length of time. Thank you all for your help!

Did you find any more information on these courses? I've been having a really hard time finding a place in cincinnati/nky to get my certification.

My name is Ken Weber. I am the director of Alia Healthcare Services of Cincinnati. I always suggest students call and/or visit STNA training facilities prior to selecting a program. By visiting a facility you can get a better sense of the atmosphere and how professional the environment is. We pride ourselves on our high STNA exam pass rates and having the nicest facility in the Cincinnati area. It is always best to judge that for yourself. Good luck with your nursing career.
