Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello everyone,

I wanted to created a forum for anyone who may have applied to the nursing bridge program at Albany State University for January 2022. I believe the deadline for all application is November 1st. I look forward to seeing anyone on this forum.

My current stats are

GPA: 3.52

TEAS: 74%

Paramedic for 2 years

Also looking for any advice from anyone who may have an idea on how they go about completing this program and still paying bills? Are you all still planning on working throughout the program? I'm going to have to. Look forward to hearing from you all!

I also applied for Spring 2022. My GPA is a 3.59 and I made a 70 on the TEAS. I wanted to take the TEAS over, but we will see what happens. Do you know when they will send out answers?

Hello,

I applied for the program Spring (January)2022. Awaiting acceptance letters, the application stated letters would be sent out after November 1st. TEAS 69, GPA 3.2. I currently work as an LPN, and definitely have to work while in the program.

The reason I picked this program is because I have to work. Any other program would require me to work less, and I definitely can't afford that. Do you all live in Georgia?

Yes, I live in Georgia, about 45 mins outside of Atlanta. You?

I live in Stonecrest, GA which is Atlanta 15 minutes outside. I took the ride to Albany to turn in my application, and let's just say I pray that I get into Cordele versus Albany. Cordele is closer. Either location I will settle with because I'm ready to finish, but I would prefer to be closer. Will you be working full-time? I work at Northside as a LPN in the float pool. I work 12 hour shifts 3 times a week.

Oh you’re close. I’m in Loganville, ga. Same. I’m just trying to get these last few classes out the way. I work full time for Kaiser. I have drive past cordele before. Never been to the actual campus.

Well we got 2 weeks before the deadline, and I pray we get in. I did clinical rotations at Kaiser. It was cool, they just didn't have any 12 hour shifts available when I interviewed.

1 week. The deadline was November 1st. That’s next Monday. I looked at some of the other forums from the previous cohorts, they started getting their letters 5-7 days after the deadline. It feels like forever; because initially it was supposed to be a fall start. But someone informed me from the nursing department at ASU that they pushed it back because they wanted the cordele and Albany campus to be aligned. Kaiser is cool. They only do twelve is our ACC, which is our mini E.R; 24 hours admit department.

I didn't know they had a facility like that.

But okay cool, I'll be on the lookout for that letter. I'm speaking it into existence

This is the week! ?? ?

I live in Atlanta too! If we got accepted we can car pull together. ??????
