They mailed me a letter of acceptance like 2 weeks ago. I was scared about that messing up too. Hey at least they are looking at. Yay!!!

I'm from Jackson, Ms so I'll be moving there in August. Where are you from? And have you received any other information besides the acceptance letter?

I am originally from Massachusetts but I will be graduating from the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC this May! Why won't anyone respond to this group! I want to meet more people! I honestly just got an email today saying I was accepted. I have not received the acceptance letter yet, so I literally don't know much about the program. Are you definitely going to attend?

Oh I am for sure attending!!! I sent my tuition deposit in already! But I have no idea why no one is replying, I would love to hear from people who have gone through it or from people like us. But I can tell you what I know so far from basically badgering the admission counselor lol. The cost of the program is 59,600 and the orientation day that will be on campus is June 1. She said more info will be sent through the mail in a few weeks regarding more details. I have a copy of the financial breakdown if you would like a copy of it. It's from last year but it details all costs associated with the program. Maybe we should exchange emails because it would be awesome to know someone prior!!

Hey sorry I haven't replied sooner! I got caught up with school and work, but i still haven't received my admissions packet! I was emailed my acceptance letter though, so I have till May4th to make a decision. I am waiting to hear back from one more school, but honestly, I really like how helpful Samford has been thus far. Did you get the email yesterday? Samford really seems so go above and beyond to help their students. I don't feel like a number there so far. I am honestly just really scared to move to Birmingham! I have never been and I am from Massachusetts and although I have been living in South Carolina for four years.. Charleston is very diverse and not necessarily "Southern", so I am nervous about the culture. I just have to keep reminding myself that this program is so intense that I won't have time to worry about that and I just need to get my degree and go to the institution that will help me succeed the most! Sorry I'm venting on here now haha. I really have only heard great things about Samford and that they are a family there which I really like!

Samford has been wonderful through the whole process and very helpful. I totally agree that I am just not a number. But the admission counselor said that more information will be sent in the next couple of weeks in regards to orientation and textbooks and things of that nature. But I did receive an email yesterday regarding setting up an advisor appt to start registering for classes for the summer and fall. But i totally understand how you feel about moving and I'm assuming the school you are waiting to hear from is close to home. I'm freaking out and I'm only moving three and a half hours lol. But I get it. I'm excited about the process and I hope you hear back from your school of choice soon at least you have options. But know Birmingham is a wonderful city. I love it. I have traveled there so many times and I have heard nothing but good things from the people who live there. So don't stress. It will work itself out.
