Do you have any idea what area/floor you plan to work in? Do you have shift preferences? I have not worked for DCH personally, but know many who do/have signed contracts. Base pay for RN is comparable to Birmingham, but shift diff. at DCH is BETTER than the good hospitals up the interstate. I have heard that DCH does more for their employees, (you do not pay to park, they have a new cafeteria), mainly little things, but sometimes it's the little things that make the difference, ya know.
I'm finishing up nursing school in Tuscaloosa, and have lived here since 2001, I don't know how far you are moving from, but if you have any questions about town, feel free to ask.
Congrats! Welcome to T-Town!

Hi,
I'm going to be relocating to Tuscaloosa upon graduation this May. I was wondering if anybody had any information on DCH Healthcare. What is the reputation of the hospital and what benefits do they offer. Any information would help me!!! Thank you!
