I have recently been accepted in the Air Force NTP program but it took awhile for my recruiter to update me with where I was going to be stationed. Does anyone know how long your orders will keep you at your residency location? Is it only for that year and then you have to move or would it be possible for me to stay there for 3+ years? Thank you!

The length of the orders is a complicated topic that has a lot of nuance. It depends on the location, position, rank, and many other factors. Broad brush: Overseas locations generally have 2 years of length. Hawaii and Alaska are 3 years. Other stateside locations are typically 4 years.
You can deploy or attend trainings at any time that will move you to other locations for varying periods of time.
