Aiken Technical College LPN to ADN Bridge Program

Hello. I'm currently a LPN and trying to apply to the bridge program at Aiken tech. Is there anyone else applying or already in the program?

Sorry, I'm just checking back. Did they tell you how long it takes to hear back? They told me 2-3 weeks but it's about that time.

Hi! Great to hear back from ya! I hope you are right because my advisor told me I would hear something in 4 to 6 weeks í ½í¸ž I am dying to see that letter in the mail!

Oh wow!! Are you serious?? The lady at the front desk told me 2-3 but she could be wrong. I'm going crazy over here and so anxious! I hate we have to wait so long anyways!!! I want to know how the class schedule is going to be so I know whether I'm able to still work.

Yes, I am so serious, I hope the front desk lady is right! From the looks of it they have changed it to where we have to do transition, pharmacology, and climicals the first semester.. Anywhere else you don't do clinicals until the 2nd semester, smh! I'm hoping I don't have to change my wrk schedule, i do 3 nights at the end of the week, and my job is NOT flexible with our hours.

Wow seriously? I didn't know that. Well probably because it's only 3 semesters we have to do. Do you know anyone who has been through the bridge before?

True, and no, I can't say that I do (at least not from ATC anyway)... Do you know anyone who has been through it? Have you heard anything about the bridge? I am going in totally blind other than what I've found out through ATC itself.

No I don't know anyone either. I'm like you, just took the tests and applied. I'm going to call soon to see how much longer. Do you know the minimum points you have to have?

I don't think they have a requirement like that, from what I understand they just go through all the apps and the ones with the highest amount get the first spot, so on, so on, until the spots are filled. And cool! Let me know what they say! They got me running to the mailbox everyday!! LOL

Oh ok well that's good! I tried calling the nursing dept but hardly no one answers the phone or doesn't know if the letters have been sent out. One lady transferred me to the one that's responsible for sending out the letters but she didn't answer either and I don't know her office number smh!!! So imma try again tomorrow.

SMH!!! That's no good!! You would think there would be someon there to answer the phone or someone who knows something! Dang. Hopefully you can get an answer tomorrow.
