I'm looking for nursing school applicants who are applying for the Fall 2019 start.

What is your GPA, Score, and any other applicable info you would like to share. Thanks and Good Luck Everyone!

i haven’t gotten anything either! i’m really confused about the whole process.

Any update on letters? I checked my informed delivery for today, but nothing . I’m guessing they may start arriving tomorrow. I’m kind of confused on acceptance. The only thing I can think is the deciding factor was not just based on points, and TEAS weighed heavier then I expected.

did you apply for LPN as well or just ADN?

I have nothing coming in the mail today and still haven't received an email either. I got a 4/5 in math and 3/5 for reading.

Nothing in the mail for me either. If the Teas weighed more, I had 5/5 on Math and 4/5 on Reading. I just am confused and I am just not understanding the process of what they do to determine if it is not points.

At this point, I’m assuming it’s a variety of things....TEAS, GPA, points, previous degrees, and certifications....pretty much everything on the application.

Also, I was wondering if people who have to repeat semesters factor into the 40 seats available. I also have no idea how many apply.

I hope you hear something soon, so you’re not left wondering! ?

We should hear something this week from letters. I am assuming they sent them out yesterday so tomorrow or the next day they should be in my mailbox!

My GPA is good but I was at a disadvantage since I had not finished all my science prereqs, I applied with bio210 and microbiology, which is why I only have 36 points. Hoping tomorrow is the day.

I had 41 points with a 3.6 GPA. My TEAS was not great, with a 4/5 in math and 2/5 in reading. Science was horrible which I know they said they don’t count, but why even take it? I also have a million credits as I have a BS and am a few classes away from a Masters so I’m wondering if they calculated my points different then what I came up with.

I think you're definitely getting in! I noticed a trend when stalking the aiken tech threads on allnurses that emails go out in batches, I think it was last year that someone got an email and 6 days later someone else got their acceptance email. Also, someone got in but I guess the school forgot to send that person their acceptance email/letter. If the letters don't come out this week I might call the nursing department and ask around.

On another note, with a BS degree have you considered AU's CNL master's program?

Thanks, I hope so! I applied to the CNL at AU a couple of years ago. I honestly don’t remember why I gave up on that?....hmm Thanks for reminding me.

I applied to the ADN program only here.

I have a bachelor of science also, so maybe things were just really competitive this year with limited space. You just never know how things played out. My friend who applied to the bridge said she thinks that some of the LPNs got placed in the traditional program.

I know it’s disheartening. I’ve been there before with another program I applied to a few years ago. Still holding out hope for you and some of the others though!
