Hello everyone,

I am needing some really serious help. As of yesterday I have taken the PSB test twice now and have scored in the 300's both times. Unfortunetly you have to score 25% on each section and I have scored below 25% on the judgement and comprehension. I am a stay at home mom and have never worked in the medical field before which is my downfall to this section. If anyone can give me some advice on study tips I would really appreciate it. I am going for LPN at Ivy tech and then maybe RN later. Thank you for your time.

HI!

I'm taking the PSB-RN test in Jan...how was it? the math part is the section i'm most worried about.

i got a couple of nursing review books, the one i like best and mentions the PSB is called "nursing and allied heath entrance exam...i think...it's out in the car...but if you PM me i'll tell you the name of it tomorrow!

:roll how hard was the math portion?

t:eek:

That test may be different than the one for LPN, but the math section was not that bad. I did really well on that part. Do you already work in the medical field? If you do have any advice it would be great. Good Luck on your exam.

i worked in the medical field from the time i was 16 (dietary aid in a long term care facility) then CNA, Medical assistant, doctor's office, until i was 20...it's been almost 3 years now, but if you give me some examples of the questions i could help a little.

also you could buy the nursing made incredibly easy book, and of course i watch the discovery health channel ALL the time :) i'm just crazy like that.

:D
