I am inquiring to see if anyone else is having a problem with the AANP exam for AGNP. I graduated in May 14' and scheduled the exam for August 14'. I failed it and was like okay school didn't do it I need more studying. I paid for the Fitzgerald review, Leik and the Exam bank 15 test bundle which was a total waste of money and tedious. I felt so good about the test ready to take it and scheduled for December 14' FAILED again. I prayed got passed it and stated I will not let the AANP beat me. My first thought was don't take it again go for the ANCC, but crazy me I took the AANP again yesterday and failed. I now know it is the test. I have seen three different versions and the way I study and lived and breath this work and test taking skills. My test was strictly gerontology and I am not just saying that. I had maybe 2 cardiac questions and maybe 75-100 questions began with frail or elderly. I don't know what else too. but I have been up all night and paid for the ANCC test and thought maybe I will just do adult and forget about gerontology. I haven't been able to find anyone else who has taken this test. Anyone out there? I know this is a newer test but it Sucks!

Oh gosh - so sorry for this frustration.
Will move this to the student NP forum for better responses.....take care, get some sleep and then attack it
Thank you I would love an open forum or just a little pick me up!
