AGACNP Residency?

I've seen a few posts about residencies post graduation, and I had no idea those existed but I am very interested now! Is anyone thinking of doing one or has gone through one? What was your experience like and would you recommend? There are none in my geographical area so would it be worth it to move out of state for one?
