Aftercare group in Georgia

Anyone has any recommendations for a good aftercare group in Georgia

I'm in the GNAPAP program. It isn't what I want to deal with every day, but isn't as horrible as some of the programs I've seen mentioned here.

OK is your group with the Georgia nurse association? And do you have to meat every week ? Your consent or is 5 years right ?

It is. My consent order states 3 years of proven sobriety. We do meet over Zoom every week, it's weird at first, but it's a great group. There is 5 of us.

What happens during a check in? How long did it take you guys to get your consent order? Any info is much appreciated.

7 months for me. I'm in the GNAPAP, and I called and left a message, and my new case worker called back a few hours later to do a phone interview. That was 12/7, and I was fully accepted to the program 12/10, with my first drug screen 12/12. I saw my addictionologist in March 2024 for the first time, and my consent order was handed down July 2024. It was a long 7 months.
