After 3 weeks of agony i passed!!!!

Published

I took the nclex-rn last aug 15, After finishing the test at 75 questions, I'm really feeling so devastated. I hoped that I could have answered more questions assuming that I failed. This morning I called the Ca BON and they told me that I passed and that they were just waiting for my finger prints to issue my license. I felt so relieved! I made a lot of sacrifices just to prepare for the nclex! I've been away from my wife for 6 long months, I resigned from my job just to study and its a good feeling to know that one's sacrifices has paid off. God is so good, and I wouldn't have pulled it through if not for Him and my family's support. I just wish everybody who just took the nclex best of luck! I would be waiting for your threads saying that you passed!

I just called Ca BON this afternoon and somebody told me that he cannot give the result by phone, he said to wait for 31 days and it will come in the mail. What did you say when you talk to the operator? I called Ca BON thinking that I'm gonna get my result too, 'coz I read your post that you got your's by calling Ca board. Thanks and God Bless!

Yup! you really have to wait for the mail. In my case I waited 4 weeks, I just called the BON if there were some requirements that I failed to submit which is causing the delay. When they checked they found out that everything checked out okay and that I should have recieved the results way before. There was a glitch in the system according to them and they told me that normally they don't give out results thru the phone but since I've met all the requirements and that a glitch was causing the delay, they told the results over the phone and told me to wait for a week for the letter from the BON. I guess in your case it would be different. I was just sooo happy that I passed that's why I posted it here. I didn't mean to say that results could be verified thru the phone. Goodluck to you! By the way how many questions did you get? what type of questions did you answer?
