Afpmc rn residency program

Hi guys. Just wanted to know if anyone who underwent the AFPMC-VLGH RN RESIDENCY TRAINING PROGARM was able to use their certificate in applying for abroad? our certificate was only good for 7 months and is it acceptable to some agencies who deploy nurses abroad? specifically in middle east. ur responses would be much appreciated. thanks guys!!

Hi! Are you currently under this program? Not to discourage you but I think most agencies require paid experience. But the good thing about this training program is that you'll learn a lot and it will hone your clinical skills.

Hi Ems01! Im from the previous batch of this program Actually, it was stated in our certificates that we worked as staff nurses from their institution and they also included the number of hours of each ward where we were assigned. The word "training" was never mentioned. So is it still not acceptable? We were really working as staff nurses there, the only difference was there's no salary and I know it's one of the requirements when applying abroad. It sucks that I spent 7 months working without stipend at all.

Apparently, if the certificate states that you worked there as Staff Nurse then probably that is acceptable. You'll never know until you try. Goodluck on your application! :)
