AFP medical center RN residency

hi. does anyone here have tried applying in afp medical center for rn residency this is a six months training. i just want to ask if they have physical requirement to those aspiring applicant? what if you are wearing eyeglasses can you still apply? because as what i've read on the other post they prefer those who are not wearing eyeglasses.

im a little confused here: last month i went to HR department of AFPMC and ask for the requirements for nurse trainee, they gave me the list of requirements and i submitted the complete requirements the next day, last week i received a text message from AFPMC that i am scheduled to take the exam on June 25, 1pm... im wondering about this registration thing that everybodys talking here.. do i need to go there to register? because they did not inform me in the txt message regarding this registration.. whoa!

I received a text from AFPMC too. Our exam is different from their exam because it is for Civilian Nurses who wanted to have a job in AFPMC. This forum is about the RN residency program which is if you pass you will be a trainee in AFPMC.

your also going to take the exam on friday 1pm? for civilian nurse? i wrote civilian nurse in my resume..thats why.. did you take the same process as mine? like submitting your requirements first at HR then they texted you?

my exam will be on fri too at 10 am. i submitted my resume in the hr but i did not indicate civilian nurse.

yup...you really have to.......When I took my exam,somebody was sent home because of wearing a duty uniform from her school...her pants is not white...so sad for her...she didn't even had a chance to take the exam...so...everyone must wear an all white duty uniform...they implement strict rules, they said it's a military hospital...so you must really follow their rules...

bring a calculator...that's a big help for the computations....:)

whats the difference of Civilian Nurses to Rn residency who took exams too at AFP? thanks for anyone who will reply.

i'm one of the first to exam....we are about 259 in the first set.....then in the afternoon there is another one......
