Santa Monica College is a community college. Community colleges only offer associate degrees. You would be able to receive an ADN, but if a BSN is what you desire you would have to attend or transfer to a university at some point to earn that degree, as universities, whether public or private, are the only colleges that offer bachelor degrees. Hope this helps. Good luck.

I'm looking into becoming an Aesthetic Nurse.. Botox, dermal fillers, etc.
From my knowledge I need to be an RN which can take 2 years for an Associates Degree, or it can take 4 years for a BSN degree. I want the BSN degree..
Now my question is...
Can I study at Santa Monica College at their Nursing Program and finish with a BSN there?
Or is it only possible to get an Associates degree there?? (2 years) & if I would need to transfer to a university after my Associates degree going towards a BSN would I need to take an additional 4 years to get my BSN or just 2 more years at a university for a BSN???
Please help, I've been researching for days now and still am unsure.
Thanks in advance!
