AE-MSN Programs in California

I already have a bachelors degree and know I want to go into nursing. TX doesn’t have an ELMSN program but only in Austin.

Considering how I am already from California,I have two questions: 1. Should I get my ADN so I can work as an RN in California while pursuing my MSN?

2. Is it better to just go for the alternate entry MSN /ELMSN out there? 
I know the cost of living is high so I’d be by myself.
