Hello this is my first time posting here. I need advice on what to say to a nursing manager. I am in my S1 year of nursing school. My first two semester I hated nursing school, I broke down in front of the instructor. I didn't give up because I have come this far. I should at least try and see if I can learn to love nursing. I am now enjoying nursing school and can feel a difference now. I have had a patient ask me if I was going to be there tomorrow (best feeling for a student nurse ). I have been looking for internships/ residency program for new grads. I want to talk to the nurse manager of two different units about their new grad programs but I have no idea what to say. I want to make a good impression so that when I do apply they do remember my face. I'm a bit on the shy side and feel like that might hurt me. One of my instructors did mention that to me but said she believes I will interview well. I will graduate in December 2016.
-Thanks in advance for any advice.
