Advice on Schedule Please!!

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Ok so i just finished my 1st semester of college!! (i have a long way to go!) and i chose my courses for my spring semester:

-Anatomy & Physiology 1

-English composition

-Stats

-Intro to Psych

-Into to Sociology

Now i was talking to someone and when i told them my schedule, they told me taking psych and socy wasnt a good fit together, especially while im taking A&P1 along with stats! I wanted to know if anyone thought that taking psych and socy together was a little too much or is that person just OVERexaggerating??? :)

I took developmental psychology and sociology together over the summer. I thought it was easy.

I took psych and sociology together (years ago--2004) and don't know why there would be an issue with it. However, it is really hard to give advice on what classes to take together or how many classes to take when difficulty and workload varies SO much from school to school or even from instructor to instructor.

But my experience: psych and sociology were easy. I took a very basic stats course that was probably the easiest class I have ever taken...and later on, a more upper level stats course that ended up being a lot of work. Tons of homework. Had to devote a lot of my time to it. I loved it, but it was not super easy.

Composition--may or may not be easy for you...but either way you can bet you will have to devote a good chunk of time to it because you will have a lot of writing to do (duh).

A&P I is difficult. It is a lot of work. Not much more I can say that you probably haven't already read about it.

Anyway, good luck!

Both are easy A's but piling them up with your anatomy, stats and ENC is not really a smart choice and I'm saying that cuz I took all those classes. I would recommend u choosing either psychology and sociology but not both cuz stats is no joke and thats coming from somebody who ace the course
