I went and took the entrance test yesterday ( 15 min ) and did fine . Admissions lady is trying to get me to take the NET on Monday ....seems to think I will do fine . When I said that to the ladies at the front desk they looked at me kinda funny ...you know the whole raised eyebrow thing ha ha .So I asked them should I get the study guide and study first and they said .."We cant tell you what to do " .....I laughed and said ok I can read between the lines .They just smiled ha ha. Anyway how long did you study and is it really that hard ??? Should I put it off a week or two and get the study guide ?? I have brushed up on math some but what about reading ??? Is it really that bad ?
THANKS !

Sweetie, dont even sweat it that net should not be a problem if you have a basic GED book hanging aroung anywhere , it is high school math on that test, I know we haven't done that math in ages but just brush up on fractions(adding, subtracting, multiplying them, negatives and positive integers, percents, how to change a decimal to a fraction or vice versa, change a decimal to whole numbers, some graphs, sounds kinda scary but jus get a notebook and start doing some problems over and over again, so by the test you have some idea when u see it, good luck future nurse to be just stop thinking about how much you want to be a nuse for the next couple of days so you can focus on the math and breeze it , I promise u if u practice it will be ok.
How about the reading ?
The reading is the easiest part that is why I did not even talk about it as long as you can read and comprehend then you should pass that with no problem. They basically giev you simple reading passages thn ask you about 4-5 questions on each passage not tough at all.
