Ask your academic adviser what your school's policy on retaking classes is. If your school is anything like ours, you won't get in with a C in any prerequisite class. Many schools will either take the latest grade, highest attempt, or an average of the scores. They may also have a limit on how many times you can take it.

Here's my dilemma...I am in a ADN program so the only required classes before I start the nursing program are A&P 1/2, Micro, Intro to Psychology, College Algebra, Humanities, Composition & Rhetoric (English). So far my grades look like this:
A&P 1 Lecture: C
A&P 1 Lab: B
English: A+
College Algebra: A
Intro to Psych: B
I took these classes in the summer but I'm afraid that I won't get in with that C. I am confident that I will pass the rest of the classes with an A, but has anyone gotten accepted with a C in biology???? If I have to retake it, I won't be able to apply for nursing until 2015 which would kill me. My current gpa is a 3.23 and I need a 58.7% on the TEAS and an overall gpa of 2.75 to be considered. I want to be as competitive as possible. Someone please give me some advice...
