I start working as a new grad in a level 1 tauma center in two months (one month after graduation). I am really eager to start learning all I need to know and my orientation is going to be extremely brief (2 months). So, my question is, what can I do to prepare myself and what should I study over the next two months--ER meds, ACLS, how to read EKG's, assessment skills? Or, should I just study my NCLEX books and not worry about specific ER stuff until I am there.
Any advice from those of you that have done this would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Study and pass NCLEX. That is your first and most important priority. Without it, all advice is moot.
Also, try here. Some good advice was given in this thread.
