i was wondering if anyone has advice or has been in my situation, what worked for you?
Here's my deal. i have my LVN license and i am on probation but in good standing. to finish up my probation (i have a year and 2 months left) i need to be consistently employed for at least six months. The fact is, i have not been sucessful in finding emplyment in San Diego where i currently reside. i have done everything i can think of!!!!! As soon as a perspective employer finds out i am on probation, the door shuts in my face.
What can i do?? i have two small children that are depending on Mommy to bring home the bacon. BTW, my offense was over 15 years ago, had it expunged B4 nursing school, it was a drug related misdemeanor.
ANY serious advice would be wholeheartedly appreciated.
Good point, shortscrubs108 i had not thought of that. Ive been scouring craigslist,Monster,Careerbuilder etc. everyday, went for an interview yesterday.....didn't get it, trying to keep my spirits up and stay positive.
