Let's see....Here's what I would do if I had to do over again. I would read more. Don't forget about your med terms. It's not just defs - look at the chapters - alot of anatomy is on the test as well. Those 2 tests can raise or lower your grade very quickly. And actually reading that book helped with the other classes too. I thought that the assessment and pharm tests were fair and straight forward. You knew or you didn't. No strange round about questions on those. But that does not make them easy either. Find a good study buddy - someone with the same (or better) grades that does not fiddle around. Just plan on not having much of a life for the next 2 semesters. This is a commitment and I think that is why it is so difficult. No one that really does not WANT to do this will make it. However, I was surprised that several of my classmates that I knew wanted and would be great nurses did not make it. Stay focused - this is really a short amount of time to sacrifice for a career. You can do it - get organized - learn your stuff - I am in second and I see that we are just building on what we started in first. So, anything I did not learn well, I am having to work harder on now. Well, good luck. I hope this has helped some and if there is anything else - just ask - someone on here always has the answer=)
