Re : Graduate Registered Nurse XXX
I am writing in response to your job advertisement for the position of Graduate Registered Nurse at XXX. I am a passionate RN-To-be who is extremely interested in the XXX program offered by the XXX hospital since I have heard so much great feedbacks about the staff in this hospital being compassionate and caring, the exceptionally high standard of care provided to patients, as well as the excellent opportunity for newly qualified nurses to build up strong clinical skills and experience under a warm and supportive environment.
I have successfully completed XXX placement blocks in the Surgical ward, Medical ward and the Outpatient department at the XXX hospital and received High Distinctions for each of the placement block. Throughout placement I've been praised by my Clinical Facilitators and colleagues for my outstanding capability to develop strong rapport with patients and their families, my superior organizational skills, my advanced clinical knowledge, plus my understanding regarding Evidence-Based Practice.
Apart from my experience I also possess advanced communication and critical thinking skills. During placement I frequently liaised with other team members in regards to patients' conditions and ward operation. I took part in clinical huddles, delivered concise and precise Handovers and attended ward meetings to present the latest conditions of my patients to the rest of the team. I regularly analyzed documentations, reported abnormalities and applied suitable nursing interventions. For example (and then give an example of how i showed my critical thinking skills)
In addition, I constantly participated in training seminar and education sessions in order to enhance my knowledge to provide higher quality service to patients.
I would be extremely grateful if you could grant me an opportunity for a meeting at your convenience so that I could further explain my passion, qualifications and abilities.
