Depends on where you are located. In rural areas I think its easier to find hospital jobs. But If I were you I would apply at hospitals, LTC, doctors office etc. I'm a fairly recent grad too. I started working corrections then med surg. I think having some type of nursing experience helped me get the hospital job. Working in corrections as a nurse did hone my organizational skills/time management, assessment, talking to MD etc etc. You will be in a far better position working as a nurse at a non hospital job vs that old new grad waiting for that golden new grad position
at that magnet hospital.

Hello all!
I am a new grad nurse with a BSN and I was wondering if it was a good idea to start my first job working at a rehab facility and then applying to a hospital after about a year of rehab experience. Will it be easier for me to get accepted to a hospital position with rehab experience? Please let me know what your thoughts are! Very much appreciated!
