Advantage Rn

Hello everyone, I am a travel nurse currently with Talmed and want to switch to Advantage RN. Has anyone worked with them? Any information would be much appreciated. Thank you:wink2:

I currently work for advantage rn. This is my first travel assignment. The company is okay, however, I was in desperate need of a job and went with them and they placed me on a unit I have no experience with and I have 8 weeks left on A unit I HATE... I will not be extending. If you need insurance for you and your family they have extremely expensive premiums. I do get my pay and its always on time. I am the only traveler on a unit that has about 10-15 travelers that has to get their time sheet signed still. The supervisors don't mind signing but act like its something they have never done before. When I was getting things inline with them to go to work I had to do all these modules, tests etc and then had to repeat everything at the facility.

I will probably try and get in with another company.

wow, thank you for the info, i will ask the recruiter about these modules. i am sorry to hear your first assigment is rough, however at least as a traveler you will be out soon and dont have to go back, as far as the timesheet i currently have to have mine signed so i am used to that. as far as insurance goes i have been told by a former recruiter that getting my own insurance is cheaper so i think i will go that route. thanks again for the info and soon this assignment will be over and you wont have to go back to that facility again. keep smilin.

I have worked for Advantage RN for the past 6 months and they have treated me very well. I have not had any problems so far and about to finish up my second 13 week assignment. The modules were easy and it just prepares you for what you might need at the facility you will be working at. I have been lucky on this first assignment and by the time I leave here I will have stayed 37 weeks at this assignment. It's in CA and I have traveled to almost every part of the state, lots of fun and nice easy job compared to what I left.
