Hi, I will be graduating from my Adult-gero NP program in August 2014. My classes finish on 8/8, and graduation will most likely be later that month. I am leaning towards taking the AANP certification exam. I did purchase the Leik Adult-Gero NP Certification Intensive Review: Fast Facts & Practice Questions. I am looking at taking a live review course, but can't decide what to do. Barkley & Associates has the live course in my area on May 29/30. I'm not sure if that would be too soon before I would be eligible to take the exam & would forget the information. Though I'm not sure if the cds for the course are included in the live course price, and if that is the case, feel it might be worth the cost then to have to cds to continue to study with (the cds alone from either source even used ones are over $150). Fitzgerald does not have a review course in my area until 9/19, a month after I complete my courses. I don't know if it would be better to wait until then to take a live course and then go to take my exam the next week or so, or to complete the other way. Any recommendations and any additional study tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Melissa
