ADN nurse looking for work in Austin or Dallas, TX

Published

Hi everyone, I am an ADN nurse looking to re-locate to Dallas or the Austin area, I have one year of experience and was wanting to know places to start looking that would be willing to hire me. :)

Specializes in Ambulatory Care-Family Medicine.

I work for Scott & white healthcare. We are based in temple but own a hospital in round rock (just outside of Austin) and several clinics through out the area. You can look on sw.org/careers to see if there is anything open that interests you.

Aw, thank you, I'll check it out.

Specializes in Case mgmt., rehab, (CRRN), LTC & psych.

I am in the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area. The major hospital systems in Dallas are very difficult to get hired into unless you possess a BSN degree these days. However, other employers are ADN-friendly such as nursing homes, home health, clinics, hospice, psychiatric facilities, LTAC hospitals, and rehabilitation hospitals.

Also, hospitals in the a few of the outlying suburbs are friendly to newer nurses with ADNs.
