ADN Math classes

I am considering becoming an RN. I am concerned because I am 32 and rusty on my algebra skills, math has never been my strong point. What are the math classes like for an ADN? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

check the required classes for your specific program. could be pre-calc, could be stats, could be diff. eq.

each program is different

Most ADN programs I have come across require a college Algebra math class. BSN, Masters tend to require the "higher" math classes. Don't worry about rust....... it can easily be brushed off! LOL. GOOD LUCK

I feel your pain. Math is the scariest part about going back for an RN. The school I am going to requires beginning Algebra. I am taking it this summer so that it's the only class I am taking at that time so I can concentrate completely on it.

I would check with the school you are considering. Some will allow you to test out if you have strong enough math skills.

Alot of them that I know of require college algebra and statistics. Some also require like a nursing one, such as Math for Meds.
