I just recieved an offer for a night shift position on an ortho floor, I accepted and am very excited to start in march. (it's my first job!) My position is going to be 2 nights and 1 day shift per week. I'm a little nervous about adjusting to this type of schedule. Does anyone have any advice for me on how to change my sleep schedule/eating schedule? Thanks!!

Congrats on the new Job!
Your schedule is a little tricky but you can develope a routine that works for you. I suggest you try to do it now. Do you know what days you will be working nights? You need to get your body adjusted to nights so I would start by doing some trail runs. Maybe try to stay awake as late as you can one night I would do things like house cleaning, laundry, anything to keep you busy then when you can't take it anymore go to sleep and let yourself sleep until 3-4 pm and try it again the next night and so on.
Don't worry you will adjust it just takes some time. I have worked nights for 12yrs and love them. I can't image working days.
Good luck
