Acute Care

I'm currently looking for acute care positions. I'm an LPN and I'm burnt out on med surg. Any suggestions?

Moving into "constant care" as a LPN/LVN maybe difficult or easy dependent on where you live in the country.

I suppose I would try a Progressive care unit meaning they are between med surg and ICU. It is also known as a step down unit. The patient need a higher level of care but less than ICU and it would be a challenge to you, but you may feel a little more comfortable with a transition to this given your medsurg background.

Good Luck.
