16 on ACT for LPN PROGRAM??

Hey guys!! I have applied for 3 schools LPN programs for the fall. My ACT is 16 and gpa is 2.5! I'm wondering do you all think I'll have any chance of getting n either programs.? Schools:: Nwcc in oxford, mdcc in moorhead, and holmes in Grenada. Plus I have all my course completed for the required courses of the RN program.

Hi, I "think" an ACT score of 16 is the minimum at NWCC. I also think either a 2.0 or 2.5 is the minimum GPA required. How well did you do in A&P? Math? Biology? Good grades in these classes may help you get into the program, but it probably depends on how many people are applying. Good Luck !!!

I got Bs in A&P 1&2 and also Biology. I'm going to take the residual act next month. I'm praying to do better! It never fails! I always get a 16!! :( even after study prep kits.

NWCC has an ACT workshop to help students raise their score. That might be something to look into if you can't get into a LPN program. "B"s are not a bad score. You may want to talk to a counselor at each program and see if they can offer some guidance. You may be able to get into a program with no problem. I think it really depends on open slots.

I'm not sure but I applied for the LPN program at northwest in oxford. I have a 3.2 GPA. I made a C in A&P 1 and a B in 2. I take the Teas Tuesday!
