acnp

I just found out I was accepted to university of michigans acnp program! Yay! I am looking to work in a critical care setting when I'm done and was looking online and noticed there are some acute adult/ critical care np degrees but they take the same boards when complete... What is the difference? Are there any acnps who work in the icu? Thanks!

I have went to two open house programs here in Georgia:

MCG the acute care program was cut due to budget before it got off the ground but the program was going to be ICU type training...

Emory same as MCG but looks like both the class and clinical hours would be so much more inclusive and user friendly...

Hey congrats! I chose Wayne State b/c of their critical care component...but it is the ACNP boards...I am going to take CCRN exam to help make myself more marketable. If you have ICU experience, you may be ok? R u at U of M flint! I thought they went strictly DNP?
