Acheive Test Prep

Hi,

I am strongly considering utilizing Acheive Test Prep, and was hoping to get some feed back. Has anyone gone through ATP? I know the cost is high, but am getting help with it, so right now cost is not a factor. Just concerned that they are legit.

Thanks.

You are aware that you can go directly through Excelsior College, right? And not double your costs by using an unaffiliated with, not-recommended by, nor endorsed by Excelsior College. There is no guarantee that the prep classes offered by a third party will offer current accurate information for the challenge exams at EC. EC also offers online classes for those who are not comfortable with self-study and need more guidance through the material in lieu of a challenge exam.

Last I saw the cost comparison it's less costly to take the online classes through EC (and you're eligible for federal financial aid) than doing challenge exams plus paying a third party test prep company.

These third party companies cannot advise you on admissions or academics. Only EC staff can offer those services. All fees from the third party company are addition to the application, tuition, practice exam and exam fees required by Excelsior College.

Only you can decide if an unaffiliated test prep company is a worthwhile additional expense when attending Excelsior College
