Howdy
When I attended college out of high school I took BIO 102 "INTRO to Environmental Bio" (about 13 years ago). I got a d in this class, not good.
Got my electronics tech cert and lived happily ever after:specs: ...until.
13 years later...I'd like to retake the class in the summer prior to my application into NS.The problem is the class is no longer available at the school. I emailed a cousellor and asked his advice, nothing yet. (There is an upgraded version entitled "Bio 106 Env Bio", this is not the same class tho.)
Any suggestions? Have you been in a situation like this?

I would check with the nursing program first. If it isn't needed for pre-reqs, then it might not be worth retaking. If you can get your college GPA up to where it is needed and your pre-req GPA really competitive-- you might be good to go depending on how your school bases your admission. My friend got an F in calculus her first semester in college (psych major) she was planning on retaking it this summer (summer before her senior year). She told her advisor about it and she recommended not to take it. It wasn't a major requirement and she brought her GPA up to a 3.5. I guess it all depends on the program though so check wth your school.
Much luck
