Accused of verbal abuse

I'm currently enrolled in a nursing program and was fired from my job in a long term care center for verbal abuse allegations. I have not been informed if I am being put on the abuse registry yet, but I am concerned that if I am it could prevent me from continuing in my program. Please no judgement, but any guidance on what to do or what this could mean for my future is appreciated.

The program may not be an issue, but being allowed to sit for boards and actually obtain a nursing license could be. A lot of times, these things are handled on a case by case basis. Certain answers are not always possible, but you may want to make an anonymous call to your BON and test the waters.
