Hello All, my auntie used to have a book of Philippine colleges that were fully accredited in the United States. I'm wondering if anyone else has this book. My plan is get my BSN in the PI and come back to the US for my MIS, so I want to make sure that the college I attend will count.
If you know of any books or lists. I'd appreciate it! Thanks for the help!

hi there, i suggest if you want to get your bsn in the philippines, be careful in choosing the school you want to get in. there are thousands of nursing schools in pi, and many are still popping out everyday...you can research for schools who are on top ten, the one's who have higher rates of passing the local nursing exam there...unfortunately, many nursing schools didn't even make 50% of the passing rate...the reason i am saying this is that many graduates lacks proper nursing education, and trust me, it is scary. having your bsn diploma doesnt really makes you a good nurse when you are not well trained. you will suffer. it will take a lot of hardwork, on your part to catch up. i have never seen the book you are mentioning, but i can tell you your local university, colleges, or the dept of education in your area can tell you which colleges and universities are accredited. 14 years ago, i went to a local university here in hawaii and ask them the same question that you have, which schools and university in which they have accredited, and honestly, only a few was on the list. if you want to pursue your masters degree here in the us, it's better to ask around about how to get in their master's program, many schools have brochures filled with information or you can contact them, and they will be happy to discuss it with you. i am a bsn graduate from pi, and working as a nurse for for 8 months now, still learning new things everyday, but i am contemplating of getting into master's degree later on:rolleyes:
