congratulations!!!
i am in the cnm/whnp program at penn-i begin in may as well (i just finished my bsn there).
tough choice- pm me if you have any questions re: penn.
i am VERY excited about the program- the faculty are fabulous.
there are still homebirth clinical options in the program- something that other programs have d/c'ed. also: complementary med course, level 1 US certification; 2 certifications at end (cnm and whnp)-- yes it can be argued you don't "need" both but for insurance (depending on the job duties and what cert you work under) and in some states prescriptive privileges (ie can do women's health as either cnm or whnp in pennsylvania- but cnm's don't have prescriptive priveleges).
lots to consider.
who has the lovely scholarship (if you don't mind)??
congrats!!! :)
i might be applying to upenn, not sure yet :/ do you mind telling me how long it took for them to make a decision? they did interview you on the phone or in person? i'm graduating in may and have so many things lined up (nclex, eeek!) and i want to know if i apply now (or a month from now), if the decision will arrive too late (after i've gotten a job offer).
thanks soo much, congrats once again!!! :)

Woohoo! I came home today- St. Patrick's Day to find my official letter of acceptance to U Penn's Midwifery and women's health program. Now comes the difficult choice between them and another program which is offering me a very nice scholarship.
Any advice?
