U.S.A. Oklahoma

:coollook:I am very excited, after waiting since November, I was accepted in the August class. I have heard good things about the instructors, the classes, the self-paced format, and can't wait to begin. Are any others out there who either went thru the program or know about it?

Congrats...:yeah:

Hello, I'm waiting to take my NLN entrance exam for LPN...

How was the exam? Any pointers or advice?

The test was harder than I expected, and I took it "blind", unaware that you can get a study guide for it online, or at Borders. You have to score > 60, and I believe I did 82. I would advise getting the guide just for the practice math. It also covered lots of science questions.

I plan on getting the Study Guide... I'm going to go over the Study Guide until it's time for me to take the exam... I'm excited to start already, although I have some way to go.

Best of luck to you.

Be prepared to get the life sucked out of you.. Haha, only kidding. However, the road up ahead is going to get tough. Stay on top of things and keep yourself organized. I'm just finishing up my LPN schooling and will be taking the exit exam on the 23rd of this month. It's been a really long year, but it was well worth it. Good luck!

I am excited to be in your position. How long was your program, and are you planning to go on to RN? I will, but I plan to work as LPN for awhile first. I want to work in home health, but will do hosp. work for the experience. I really want to avoid nursing homes, if possible, but will work there if I find a place I like.
