Accelerated Nursing Degree in Seattle, Wa.

Hi all,

I am fairly new here, hopefully I am posting in a right place.

I will have my bachelor's degree in Biology and Chemistry in May 2006. I am thinking of going into a nursing career. I am planning on moving to Seattle after I finish my bachelors degree, My question is: Are there any accelerated BSN programs offered in any schools in Seattle?

I checked the UW-Seattle site, they have Direct entry program to MS for those who hold a bachelors degree, but they dont have any accelerated BSN degrees. I am just worried to go into MS directly because the only nursing experience I have is working as a CNA, and getting my CNA. Moreover, It might be competitive to get in.

If you know any school that offers any accelerated program preferably in Seattle or else near (2-3 hrs Drive) from seattle, then Please let me know.

Hi Alicia,

I'm from Seattle, and there is no accelerated BSN programs in WA. And Yes, UW is really competitive for the Master's Entry, they take about 20 people, and usually 150-200 apply each year. I most likely will be moving to the eastcoast to pursue a accelerated BSN program. The closest program available I believe is Linfield College, offered in Oregon.
